Masters Squad

City of Cambridge Rowing Club has a vibrant Masters rowing group covering both men and women members ranging from Masters A (average age over 27) to Masters F (average age over 60). The group is largely made up of experienced rowers many of whom have previously rowed in the senior squads.  

In recent years, the club’s Masters have had a lot of success with crews regularly winning or making the finals at Henley Masters Regatta, winning medals at the British Rowing Masters Championships and achieving top three rankings at events like the Vesta Veteran Fours Head as well as winning events at regional regattas.

Training varies across the squad with some crews going out once a week and others more frequently, as well as taking part in land training.
