Christmas Head

Our annual Christmas race will take place on Saturday 5 December 2020.  We still hope to run it this year as the country is due to come out of lockdown on 2 December.  There will be a revised COVID-19 1,800m long course running from Plough Reach to Top Finish (this is the same length as the normal Peter’s Post to Goldie Boat House course, but will make marshalling easier and allow crews to row straight back to their boathouse).

It’s a light-hearted race with many crews getting involved with the festive spirit by wearing fancy dress.

We also aim to have a cable-cam covering the last 100m of the race with footage streamed on Facebook Live

Come join in the fun and enjoy some much needed Christmas cheer!

Should the event be cancelled or reduced in size then refunds will be given on entry fees.

Division Times:

• Division 1: 10:00am
• Division 2: 12:15pm
• Division 3: 14:30pm

Prizes will be given for:

• Senior categories with 3 or more entries
• Junior categories with 2 or more entries
• The best fancy dress
• The best line around Ditton Corner

Winners will be announced online on Facebook Live
