The 20th April 2013 marked the 150th anniversary of the formation of City of Cambridge Rowing Club, the oldest town club on the Cam. Thank you to everyone who made the occasion such a great success. Here's to a historic year to come, and many more to follow.

Paul Kenworthy 11 February 1968 – 17 February 2016

It is with great sadness that CCRC announce the loss of Paul Kenworthy. Paul was a fun and social City member who was also up for any challenge, competing for City on numerous occasions and notably finishing the Boston Marathon in his Single.

Paul passed away on 17 February, his funeral was held at Bunurong Memorial Park, Australia on 8 March where his life was celebrated by many of his family and friends.

Congratulations to Sabrina and Kathryn who succesfully won their category in the Great Ouze marathon on Sunday. They not only won W Novice 2x, but set a new course record for their category in 1 hour 44 minutes 30 seconds, they finished 44th overall and were the 11th fastest women's crew: full results are available here:

Secondly the mighty Pair of Ben Redman and Barney Price are off to the FISA World Masters regatta in Hazewinkel, Belgium this weekend along with Jess Upton is also competiting, coxing a  City-Rob Roy Composite 8+  Good luck and bring home some metal!

Finally, Guy Clack is running in the Great North Run this weekend up in Newcastle. Not only that he, and his mate Richard are cycling the 240 odd miles up there before running it! Squad Meetings

New Season - 2015/16

As a kick start to the new season our men's and women's squads will be holding meetings on the follwoing dates in the City of Cambridge boathouse;

Men's Squad - Friday 28th August 19:00

Women's Squad - Saturday 5th September 08:00

These meetings provide you the chance to let your respective captains know what your aims and objectives are for the 2015/16 season, whether thats in a single, aiming for a seat in the top boat or masters rowing, it's important that the club knows what you want to do so we can support it.
