During lockdown we’ve been investing in it, with new Concept 2 rowers, bench pull and a new rack and leg press from Bodymax and Powerhouse Fitness.

Our new equipment has been specifically recommended by Alex Wolf, previous lead S&C coach for GB Rowing, during a recent consultation.

Following guidance from British Rowing, City of Cambridge Rowing Club were pleased to return to the water last week!

“Really good to have the members back on the water this weekend after a long break from the river. Everyone is really glad to be back and they’re enjoying seeing everyone again” – Nicholas Sinclair, Captain.

Following guidance from British Rowing, we are pleased to be returning to the water from the 29th of March!

The gym will remain closed, but we are making investments in the gym and the equipment ready for when we open fully. Our Covid committee will be making the appropriate updates to the rules and these will be circulated closer to the time.

If you’re looking to contact the club, please don’t hesitate to contact the committee here –
