City of Cambridge Rowing Club is looking to recruit a full time Director of Rowing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for continuing the club’s further development with a view to building long term success and member engagement. The Director of Rowing will undertake duties such as:
- Lead and mentor a team of volunteer coaches to deliver a top tier program that both inspires and enables the club’s athletes to achieve their potential.
- Produce structured training plans for beginner to performance squads.
- Coach crews and athletes from across the club.
- Assist with equipment and logistical activities around the club.
The exact specifications of the role will be discussed with applicants to maximise effectiveness of the candidate’s strengths.
City of Cambridge Rowing Club is the oldest town rowing club in Cambridge. The club has a broad membership from juniors, through seniors to masters across sweep and sculling. It competes both regionally and nationally. The club has a modern boathouse which includes a gym, clubroom and boat bay with the most modern fleet on the River Cam.
Salary will be in excess of £30,000 p/a commensurate with experience.
Relevant certifications and qualifications are encouraged, but not required.
