W1 winning Headship in 2016 Cambridge City Bumps

City of Cambridge is the oldest town rowing club in Cambridge and one of the biggest in the region. We have squads that compete at all levels of competition around the UK.

Boat Naming and Memorial

On Sunday 21st Spetember City will be hosting an afternoon in honour of Cranch Lamble.

At 2pm his family will be officially naming the new Filippi 8+ after him followed by a row down to the Long Reach where his ashes will be scattered.

CCRC would like to invite the enitre membership and their families to attend the event and any others that would like to pay their respects. After the boat naming and row the bar will be open for drinks in order to celebrate his life and commitment to City of Cambridge Rowing Club. Smart dress and club blazers are encouraged.

12 wins at Champs Junior Sculling Head

The juniors picked up 12 category wins at the Champs Junior Sculling Head, finishing as the most successful club of the day for the second year in a row. There were dominant performances from the top boys and girls, and gutsy race wins from Camille in WJ15 1x and Ottilie and Ellen in the WJ14 2x. The race also featured first races from some of the younger juniors, with Bella, Alice and Mathieu trying singles for the first time, and Ellie and Floss racing well in a double.
